Position

· Medical Science Liaison (Mainly for Investigator Initiated Studies)

Job description

This position will collaborate with investigators, clinical nurses, CROs to support investigator-initiated research projects (IITs). Serve as a liaison between investigators, academic group and company. Work closely with investigators and other stakeholders to coordinate the day-to-day activities of clinical operation.

Report to the strategic planning lead of clinical development department.

Responsibilities

· Support Investigator-initiated studies to produce clinically relevant results

that can lead to company-sponsored trials and approvals

· Provide investigators with technical support for study development and

operations of Investigator-initiated trial (IIT)s.

· Ensure the reliability and quality of IITs

· Communicate with investigators, nurses, internal stakeholders and external

stakeholders to maximize mutual collaboration

· Manage the project progress and timeline with all project stakeholders

· Leads the logistic and organizational aspects of medical activities and

meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, e.g., CRO, KOLs

· Complete accurate and timely administrative reports, project plans, and

required documentation requests

· Maintain good rapport and cooperative relationships with stakeholders.

Approaches conflict in a constructive manner. Help to identify problems,

offer solutions, and participates in their resolution

· Review literature and market information for related research developments

· Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence from multiple sources

· Contributes to scientific publication planning, slide-deck development,

training initiatives and the development of R&D strategy

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or other medical related

discipline. Advanced degree preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean

· At least one year of related work experience

· Project management or clinical operation (CRA, CRC, etc.) experience

preferred

· Knowledge of research design principles, statistics, regulatory requirements

and ethical requirements

· Has strong initiative, and functions well as part of a cross-functional team

· Capable of working independently on assigned projects while thriving in a

team-based environment

· Good organizational skills; efficient in the use of time and resources

· Experience in a start-up environment preferred

· Must be pro-active team player, flexible, and open to change
